Ham And Mandarin Salad 

1 clove garlic, halved
2 c. cooked ham, finely cubed
1 c. celery, thinly sliced
1/3 c. green onion, chopped
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin orange segments, drained
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/3 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
2 tbsp. light cream
1 tbsp. vinegar
Crisp greens


Rub salad bowl with cut clove of garlic. Combine ham, celery, onions, walnuts and orange segments in bowl; cover and chill. Just before serving, blend pepper, mayonnaise, cream and vinegar; pour over ham mixture and toss until ingredients are well coated. Serve on crisp greens. 6 servings.
